Triloknath village

Several times in the last centuries (last time in 1979), a large part of the village was destroyed and swept over the cliff by disastrous avalanches. It is reported that the sanctum of the village Temple with the main idol was always miraculously left intact.
The village still possess some old houses in the traditional, vernacular building technique with beautiful carvings on wooden doorways, pillars and windows.
