Triloknath

The village of Triloknath (Tibetan name: Ras ’aphag) is spectacularly situated at the edge of a steep cliff high above the southern bank of the Chandrabhaga (Chenab) River in Lahul. The name of the village is actually Tunde, but it is better known under the name of its famous temple Triloknath - not to be confused with the Triloknath Temple in Mandi - and it a pilgrimage center for both, Buddhist and Hindus. Furthermore, the annual Pori fair in August attracts thousands of pilgrims from all over India.
