"Chandrikādevī, the daughter of Aniyaṅkbhīmadeva in the lineage of the great Chodagaṅga, married Paramādideva, the ornament of the Haihaya dynasty. She caused the construction of the temple for Vāsudeva and Baladeva, when the Śaka year 1200 (A.D. 1278) ended, at the holy place of Ekāmra, situated in the province of Utkala where it is adorned with the magnificent temple of Krittvāsa near the stream called Ghandhasindhu, and where is situated the incomparable ocean like Vindusaras with its nectarous water, capable of removing weariness of the passersby. To commemorate the achievement, this dedicatory eulogium was composed by the poet Laureate Umāpati, a devotee of Śiva." [Orissa State]
