5th storey: temple 5W

The western temple is devoted to Shākya thub pa (Śākyamuni) and has the statue of Śākya seng ge (Śākyasiṃha) in its center (gr.pl.No. 1), flanked by Vajrasattva to his right (gr.pl.No. 1a) and Ratnasattva to his left (gr.pl.No. 1a’). E-wall, left of the throne: Painted Jagadvinayacaturmudrāmaṇḍala, Jagadvinayaikamudrāmaṇḍala and Sarvatathāgatamudrāmaṇḍala (gr.pl.No. 2); S-wall: Painted Jagadvinayamahāmaṇḍala, surrounded by the caturmudrāmaṇḍalas of the Four Families (gr.pl.No. 3); Entrance-wall, right: Painted Jagadvinayadhāraṇimaṇḍala and Jagadvinayadharmamaṇḍala (gr.pl.No. 4); Painting above the entrance: Jagadvinayakarmamaṇḍala (gr.pl.No. 5); Entrance-wall, left: Vajrapāṇimaṇḍala and Trilokacakramaṇḍala (gr.pl.No. 6); N-wall: Unidentified maṇḍalas (gr.pl.No. 7); E-wall, right of the throne: Painted Trailokyavijayamaṇḍala, Ākāśagarbhamaṇḍala and Vajradhātumaṇḍala (gr.pl.No. 8).
