Chapel devoted to the masters of the "second diffusion"and to the great Kashmirian scholar (Kha che Paṇ chen) Śākyasrībhadra (1127-1225), the last abbot of Vikramaśīla. W-wall: Statue of Kha che Paṇ chen Śākyasrībhadra (center) (groundplan No. 1), flanked by mKhan chen Byang chub dpal bzang po (to his right) (groundplan No. 1a) and of ’Jam dbyangs rin chen rgyal mtshan (to his left) (groundplan No. 1a’). N-wall: Painted Śākyamuni in bhūmisparśamudrā, surrounded by a crown of masters (groundplan No. 2); S-wall: Painted mKhan chen rDo rje dpal bzang po, another diciple of the Kha che Paṇ chen (groundplan No. 3).
