Tabo skor lam: north wall, lower section

The narrative composition is covering the lower part of the outer east, south and north walls of the cella ambulatory. The continuous painted frieze starts from the left of the entrance to the cella, finishing at his right. The theme has not yet been deciphered. However Ponweiser (Ponweiser 2007: 151-166) has proposed that the story is a symbolic eulogy to the Bodhisattva Ye-shes-'od and his quest for enlightenment. The narrative units are accompanied by framed inscriptional panels, which are, however empty.
