Mukteśvara compound: khākharā shrine

Khākharā shrine. Dvārapālas are carved at the base of the door jambs and navagrahas on the architrave. The standard śaivite pārśva-devatās are housed in the rāhā niches. The presiding deity is missing but a niche in the back wall suggests it was not a śiva-liṅga. The bāḍa has a simple tri-ratha plan. The mastaka-khākharā is plain and surmounted by a kalaśa.
