1st storey: chapel 1Sb'
The chapel is located at the E-end of the S-side of the sKu ’bum and is chiefly devoted to the cycle of Gur mgon, who is a particular form of Mahākāla. W-wall: statue of Gur mgon (center) flanked by Ral gcig ma (Umā Ekajaṭā) and ’Dod khams dbang phyug ma (Kāmeśvarī) (groundplan No. 1). N-wall paintings: The deities of the Dur khrod brgyad (Aṣṭasmaśāna) (groundplan No. 2); S-wall paintings: Phyag rdor 'Byung po 'dul byed (Bhūtaḍāmara Vajrapāṇi) and mGon po bram ze'i gzugs can (Brāhmaṇarūpamahākāla) (groundplan No. 3) .
