Fragment of jamb with three superimposed figured scenes. Lower scene: the conversion of the naga (Kalika?): the Buddha is standing three quarter to left, in abhayamudra, before a tree with parted branch (?), in front of a naga and a nagini in anjalimudra, emerging from a walled pond; to right is Vajrapani with loincloth (?), holding a vajra, followed to right by another figure; to the left, a standing figure, thre quarter to right, in anjalimudra; above, emerging from the background, two figures.
Central scene: unidenified scene: to right, a female (?) figure, getting out from a city door (?) is presenting a standing child to the Buddha, standing before a tree and besides her, three quarter to right; the child is represented also sitting (?), in anjalimudra, to the right; to left, in the foreground, are three standing figures, the first one walking to right, with head turned back (Vajrapani?); the central one apparently a monk, standing frontally; the third one to left a princely male figure (?) three quarter to right, in anjalimudra; above, two further figures emerge from the background.
Upper scene: a haloed Bodhisattva (Maitreya or Siddhartha in the Tusita heaven?), seated in sattvasana, in abhayamudra, with kamandalu, on an open lotus with reverse petals, beneath a decoarated canopy with hanging garlands flanked by two flying figures; at the Bodhisattva's sides are four figures seated on stools, three of them in anjalimudra, the inner one to right with attributes.
Architectural frame: the scenes are separated by cornices with row of false brackets; at the corners are gandharan-corinthian pilasters with pairs of amorini (?) against the shaft.
